Shannon DeYoung

Director of Talent Acquisition

Shannon DeYoung has always had a passion for helping others.  After receiving her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University, she began her career in professional staffing.  Very quickly, she realized that recruiting was something that came naturally to her and that she thoroughly enjoyed.  Not only did she love the excitement of finding the perfect candidate for her customer, she thrived on being able create a win-win for all of those involved. Before coming to Select, she worked as a Corporate Recruiter for a global IT Solution Company based out of Chicago IL. Since 2003, Shannon has worked for Select Resources.  In her current role as Director of Talent Acquisition she wears many hats including the management of a talented staff of recruiters, corporate marketing, technical recruiting and account management.

Outside of her responsibilities at Select, Shannon is a fundraising chair for Our Lady of Consolation School and Parish (OLC) in Rockford MI, is a Board Committee Member for OLC and is an active member of aimWEST.  Shannon loves to be active and on the go.  She also enjoys watching College Football (Go Irish), spending time with her husband and 4 children, fishing and boating.
